Outside ("the app") is a personal Android app built by GlitchGreg that detects whether you are indoors or outdoors using on-device sensors. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Data Collected On-Device

The app reads the following sensor data locally to determine indoor/outdoor state. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to any server operated by the developer:

The developer does not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. The only data that leaves the device is the anonymised analytics and crash reports described in Section 3.

6. Data Retention

All local session data is retained until you delete it via the app or uninstall the app. Analytics and crash data is retained by Google per their standard retention policies.

7. Children's Privacy

Outside is not directed at children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
